Deliver an interactive and engaging activity that will run for 7 weeks over Butlin's peak summertime holiday period. The activation is to run simultaneously in each of the three Butlin's Resort.

The activity is designed to celebrate the partnership between Butlin’s and Coca-Cola through an exclusive redemption scheme.

The aim is to drive the sales of Coca-Cola with assigned food & beverage offers whilst delivering a unique and memorable experience for the guests.

For each respective Resort actvity installation, two Hug Me team brand ambassadors will be appointed to run the activation on a day to day basis throughout the 7 week period.


The summer activity comprises of four main elements:

The Hug Me Installation

As an exclusive for Butlin’s this summer, each venue will host an exclusive 'Hug Me' vending machine housed within a bespoke iconic Coca-Cola bottle.

Collectable Cards

Developed specifically for Butlin’s, there are four to collect. Each card has its own character and corresponding profile.


Trialed at Bognor Regis Resort, these machines are pivotal to the success of the summer activity. Skegness and Minehead Resorts are to have their own stations installed specifically for this activation.


Designed to help raise awareness and educate guests, the POS will help deliver a rounded campaign.


An overwhelming response to the activity from guests on each Butlin's Resort, which provided memorable experiences and the chance to win more prizes including a free Butlin's family holiday through the use of social media.

Butlin's customer feedback was consistently hugely positive about the Coca-Cola activation, whilst an increase in Coca-Cola product sales was enjoyed on each respective Resort
